Road to work, and actually felt a little cooled off as I went zooming down the hill.

Helped a cyclist who was lost at the Eastgate interchange. Going to downtown Bellevue she was.

Then, 2x of :
- 10 Pullups
- 25 Push-ups
- 50 Incline Situps

Wrapped up with
-20 Overhead Squats @ 20#

Bear-Proof Containers and the Recruiting Process July 25, 2009

This last week, I ran into a fairly interesting product: A bear-proof container that wasn't. I was helping our Boy Scout Troop get ready for a long weekend hike in the Olympics, and this was one of the requirements.



The situation reminds me a lot of recruiting.


Why is it that the people directly involved in the hiring process remind me of the elation Yellow-Yellow must feel when opening up that bear-proof container? Why is Yellow-Yellow the only one who figured it out? How long until Yellow-Yellow won't be able to open them anymore?


Sigh.
